Dark Moon Basenjis

Pika had an exciting start to her show career, winning first at her very first puppy match over an entry of forty 3-6 month old puppies. 

In July 2010 Pika showed at her first AKC shows she won 3 4-point majors in one weekend. 

In August 2010 Pika won Best in Sweeps at a Basenji Club of America Regional Specialty under breeder-judge Andrew Sawler. The next day Pika won a 4 point major to finisher her championship. in just two weekends a total of 7 shows. 

As a special Pika was a group placing, BCOA supported entry Best of Breed winner, BCOA national specialty award of merit winner, Westminster Kennel Club Award of Merit Winner, and a top 20 Basenji. 

Pika is also an excellant picture of health she is CHIC certified which means she has completed all of the health testing sugged by the OFA for Basenjis.
