Dark Moon Basenjis

Nixon is a dog that is very special to Dark Moon Basenjis. Even though he was not bred here he was the first Basenjis Veronica raised as a puppy. He was Veronica's main Juniors dog and is the dog who taught her the most on handling. 

 

Nixon finished with 3 majors inclduing winning Best of Winners and Best in Sweepstakes at the Basenji Club of Cincinnati specialty. 

 

As a special Nixon was a mutliple group placing, top 10 Basenji including winning the first award of merit at the 2008 AKC Eukanuba National Invitational dog show and winning Best in Veteran Sweepstakes at the 2014 Basenji Club of America National Specialty. 

 

NIxon currently is a resident couch potatoe, he was diagnosed with Fanconi Syndrome in the winter of 2012 and is doing well.
