Monkey had a STELLER beginning to his show career as a baby he was:

May 2017: RESERVE WINNERS DOG at the MABC's BCOA's supported entry to a major. 

​

July 2017: BEST BASENJI IN SWEEPSTAKES at the Hudson River Valley Hound Association Show BCOA supported entry. Monkey then went on to Win a Best puppy in hound show with a HOUND GROUP 1ST in Sweepstakes! 

​

September 2017: BEST PUPPY IN SWEEPSTAKES at the North Eastern BCOA Regional Specialty under breeder judge Doris Daniels. 

​

September 2017: Monkey goes to the BCOA National Specialty and wins WINNERS DOG, BEST BRED BY, and BEST OF WINNERS in a total entry of 199 class dogs!!! 

​

Monkey has continued being show selectively as a special and has many BOB wins at BCOA supported entries and BCOA regional specialty weekends. He is a group placer and was SELECT DOG at the 2018 BCOA national specialty. We look forward to presenting him at select shows while he grows up.

Eyes: CERF'd Normal in Dec 2016 and Dec 2018

Thyroid: Normal

Fanconi Syndrome: Clear/Normal

PRA: Normal
